Hello
Hey, not much time to say anything as I have to quick run to a class, however, thanks for the invite. I look forward to hacking the hell out of this device and it's a pleasure to be able to do it with all of you.
A quick little though/tidbit if anyone hasn't noticed it. If you have Visual Studio installed and if you're familiar with C#, load up a windows app project and go to add reference. In the COM tab, all the way at the bottom are a multitude of files dealing with the Zune (all titled Zune). I've been playing around with them for the last few days and I think that with those a great deal of progress could be made.
Only problem for me is, I'm pretty sure they're all straight copy/modifications from the WMP11 beta sdk, and without the complete sdk I can't really do much as most of the apps I've made using it have simply caused internal errors in the com object itself.
Just food for though. By the way, in that COM object are a couple handy functions which deal directly with the play time, play count, and other such stuff with those 3x3 files. That's why I inquired about getting my hands on that particular file. Now, I don't mean to presume Microsoft would have provided us with such an easy tool as that to remove the 3x3 rule, but I've witnessed them do more foolish things in the past.
