Charing my Zune 30GB?

Hey guys,

I don't have wall charger and have always been charging my zune through my computer. However im going on hols for a week to stay at a friends place.

Can i charge my zune on his computer through USB without installing the zune software or would i be doing damage to my zune mp3 player?

Nothing will happen to ur zune and u dont need to install anything.
How i know: charged my zune at school computers all the time

your perfectly fine, unless your friend has his usb ports hooked directly into 240 volt electrical circuits...

It may charge slowly, though. When you first connect it, watch the PC screen. Windows may or may not recognize it. If it does it will install the zune USB driver, and will be able to charge at full power. If not, it will only trickle charge it, to avoid damage to an 'unknown' device. Either way is just fine, other than the extra time a trickle charge requires...
