Request for a Zune HD app

The app is an E6B app aka a flight computer

The app needs to be able to calculate fuel burn, wind correction, time en route and all other standard calculations and corrections that an E6B normally makes.

I mainly ask that this app be made because i'm tired of using my standard E6B and i'm too cheap to buy the electronic ones that run from 60 to 70 dollars (flight school is expensive enough, roughly $5,000) so if anyone could help me out it would be great.

There's several on the Apple app store, I assume someone can make one for the HD.

I know apple has the app, they have apps wipe your *cough**cough* nose, but i don't have an Itouch so i don't mess with apple. it would really be nice is someone would make the app for zuneHD, and it doesn't have to have all the bells and whistles that apple puts on their apps it just needs to be able to do the calculations and a somewhat user freindly interface.

If only the Zune had native 3D support...

Then it would be a simple porting of this. I'm a bit busy right now, but I've always liked Flight Sim's and have considered a Descent remake for a long time now. It would be fun on a Zune/Phone. Think of all the people holding little rectangles up to their eyes and spinning around and around and around! fun stuff.

Wind and fuel burn wouldn't be required to fly RC aircraft.

ok let me anwser these post in order:
1) no this is not for an RC, this is for a private pilot (hint: i said "flight school")
2) yes a flight sim for zune would be awesome but i'm not asking for a flight sim
3) thanks for correcting my error on the thread topic
4) yes there is a little too much concern on grammer in this thread

their that should get me up to date on post so far. I'd be glad to help clear up any other questions, but it might not be until tomorrow because i need to get back to studing.

also for the programmers that do not know this is a traditional E-6B:

and the app i have in mind for the request does these calculations. very simple all that needs to be done is to convert it to a zune app with the capibility to input the numerical information and get the needed vaules. well maybe add this as a nice little feature if possable.

If you have Visual Studio and XNA 3.1 this would be a very simple starter program. Do you have any programming knowledge?

I hope to do my training and flying in a Piper Seneca.

multi-engine training pretty ambitious for a new pilot but not impossable to do, and i plan on getting my multi rating before my single.
