Kaspersky is alright I guess. Our school uses it. Everything else bogs your computer down (especially Norton). AVG free is okay for a free alternative, but AVG full is bad.

The free one month trial of Nod32.
Then you buy it.

Avast lets all kinds of things through.
I use a combo of Malwarebyte's Anti-malware free and AVG paid.

MBAM will give false positives on occasion, but that's because it's so powerful. Use a little common sense and you'll be fine.

I've noticed that some anti virus programs seem to get issues with google software.

I use MSE, always worked for me, doesn't use too many system resources.

Have you used Norton (360, Idk about the others) in the past two years? It doesn't bog down your system at all... Psh. If you're not very well versed in the internet It's perfect.
For myself, I use a combo of MSE and MWB. OH! And common sense.
