Damn, just now tested it, It does work but the problem is Zune will automatically exit out the app within 5 minutes.

The alarm app is useless to me unless I hook it up to some speakers...

Bass guitar doesn't use chords.

Ahh, thank goodness for the alarm application. Now, all that's left is a txt. viewer and/or notepad and the zune HD has all the apps I'm hoping it would have when I switched over from a Samsung P2.

In size it is the 7th where PGR uses the most memory.

btw has ANYONE been able to beat level 25! I'm not sure but the way the levels show up in game play suggest that there are more levels but are numbered the way that they are in Angry Birds and other puzzle games.

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows how I can get my friends from Xbox to show up in Windows Messenger. The email I use for Zune, XBL, and Messenger are the same, and I figured that'd work, but apparently not. Please help.

You'd have to add them manually. And they have to actually be using WLM for it to even do anything.

I use my Zune HD all the time on my daily train commute - 1 1/2 hours each way. I am sure that I will find a multitude of uses for the Alarm Clock app, either to wake me or to shut off after a set amount of time. Not bad for free - keep them coming Microsoft.

I am in the same situation. Live in Canada and bought a 16GB HD off of eBay.
The difference is I have no problem downloading Apps, Games, Podcasts from the Marketplace.
I am using Zune PC software version 4.7.1404.0 and version 4.5 (109) on the Zune.
When you signed up for your Zune account did you choose the United States as your region?

Loving this sleep timer and alarm clock!!! Really happy to not need to make the playlist out, our in the case of podcast books, calculating the number of episodes I need on the zune.

I'm not sure why, but all the Microsoft apps seem too little too late to me... They all seem very lack luster.

The only apps I've actually enjoyed are Audiosurf, the racing game, and word monger (the war game and the light game were alright too).

I really love the alarm clock app, but I did have one problem with it. As far as I can tell you can't set separate volumes for the alarm music and sleep music, so I can't use them both in one night. I tried it and any music loud enough to wake me in the morning is too loud for me to fall asleep listening to.

I noticed this as well. I have been fortunate so far, the same volume will both put me to sleep and wake me. Maybe they will add this feature.
