Microsoft Update

Hello
I just bought my Zune 120 last night, and I'm so frustrated because I can't put any music on it. For some reason, my computer will not access any Microsoft sites. There's no way for me to get the software or connect to Microsoft update. All other websites work fine, and I can access Microsoft.com on my desktop which is connected to the same network.
I've tried running a couple of different registry fixers, doing a dns flush, and messing with te hosts file. Nothing. Whenever I try to access any Microsoft site, it's like I'm not even connected to the internet.
Any suggestions?

ok dude read carefully ...

disable your virus software COMPLETELY ,make sure your an admin on your pc

ohh and just to make sure what OS are you using
