DVD to Zune:
Note that most of these involve multiple conversions, but we're going for programs with the least amount possible. Usually, there'll only be two (the riping and the converting).

Staxrip - easily convert your DVD's, DVB captures and many more formats into MPEG-4 like DivX, XviD and x264. As a open source application StaxRip is completely free (thanks again, GOW).
