Australian looking to buy Zune / use Zune marketplace

The Zune isn’t out here yet and I’m really keen to get one. I should be able to get one through amazon.com but will I be able to use Zune marketplace and use it with my Xbox 360 or will Microsoft have done something to prevent me from doing this? If not actually being able to buy songs from Zune marketplace and using my microsoft points would i still be able to use the basic features of the zune like ripping my cds and putting my mp3s onto it?? Thanks

you can buy songs and stuff. Search this site for zinternational. And yes you can still use everything without that (of course not the marketplace)

ZUNE > IPOD

Ripping CDs works perfectly fine. You can also subscribe to podcasts etc through the Zune Marketplace but you will need to setup a LiveID with a 'US' address (takes 5 minutes) and you may need to tell your PC it lives in the US.
