Okay I know that this will probably never happen but it could. Is there anyway to port the Windows Phone software over to Zune? Or better yet has anyone tried to create a sort of Hybrid Os for the Zune HD. It's still a great device and much better than most PMP's out there so is there anyway to keep it active in this new age?

Wp7's strict requirements alone make the Zune hd unable to use wp7 as well as the firmware never being broken on any of the Zune devices

Yup. Zune doesn't meet the minimum HW requirements. Sigh...
