Default Zune 80GB & WMP

Okay folks, I'm not much of a technical person. I did build my own computer and have some knowledge though. I just purchased a used Zune 80GB, downloaded the software to my PC, got it synced to my PC through the wireless router. I can't seem to figure out how to put music from my PC onto the Zune. It came with alot of music already on it, and I can copy that music to my PC, but not the other way around. When I plug it in with the USB cord it says connected, but, when I go to My Computer, I don't see it. When I open Windows Media Player and try to sync to it, WMP doesn't see it. I'm using Windows 7 64bit. Please help!!!!

You have to use the Zune software to sync it. The Zune will not show up in windows as a removable disk like some other mp3 players.

In the software, go to Settings>Software>Collection to manage what libraries or folders the software will look in to find music and other files.

To sync (if it is not set to sync automatically), go to the Collection tab. Click and drag files to the small picture of a Zune in the bottom left corner.

Thank you very much! I think I've got it now. I'm sure I'll have more questions later, but you've got me on the way. Thanks again, John

Angry Need help again

Okay, I got my music loaded and used it in my car with the aux cord, It sounded really good. When I got to work I thought I had it turned off, but apparently not, because when I got in the car to go home and turned on the key, it was still playing and said low battery. Now it's dead. I had it plugged into a wall socket USB charger all day today and I still can't get it to turn on. Hope I haen't killed it!!!! Help!!!!! Thanks, John

Try pressing and holding the up and back buttons at the same time.

These button combinations are good to know for when you have problems:

Unfortunately, a not so great property of lithium batteries is that if you discharge them below a certain critical voltage, you cannot recharge them. Sounds like your issue... Solution if so, is a battery replacement. try rapidrepair.com and/or pdasmart.com
