Can't Delete Song off of Device?
Hey all, so I've been working all day on a song that I made, and one of the things that I did was put the instrumental version on my zune so I could listen while recording vocals. Now that I've finalized the full version I'd like to put the full version onto my Zune using the same name that the instrumentals version has (the proper name of the song), but I don't want to confuse the two versions, so I'd like to delete the instrumental version.
Problem is, when I plugged my zune into my computer and synced it up with the zune software and went to explore the list of songs on my device, it's not showing up...anywhere! I've looked for the artist I labelled it under, the album, and the song title, and no matter what I do it's not showing up! So I figured that maybe I had somehow already deleted it off of my zune and proceeded to put the full version onto the device--but when I unplugged the device I saw that I now had two different versions of the same song on the same album made by the same artist, but they still had the same title--which makes them nearly impossible to tell between one another!
Is there some sort of way to reset the device's parameters on the software or something to make it re-recognize all of the songs on my device? What exactly is going on here?
If it helps at all I don't have a Zune HD, I believe I have a 2nd or 3rd generation 120 GB Zune (I know it's 120 GB, I just don't know the exact generation I have, although I know it's not the first).
