Zune Compact Flash Adapter
Yesterday I popped open my old Zune 30, and installed a CF to ZIF adapter board with a 32Gb 400x Transcend CF card. Long story short, it gives me an error 5. Hard reset attempts to work but errors in the end. (I have also tried an older 8GB SandDisk card)
I read before that people have successfully done this mod, and one guy in particular got it work with a 1GB CF card. I have also read where people were talking about figuring out which CF cards were compatible.
This brings me to my question: do any of you know which CF cards are indeed compatible, and/or why -any- CF card would -not- be compatible? This part doesn't make much sense to me.
