On, what? Your computer background?

At any rate, if you want to just convert it to a .jpg you can.

Open up the image in MS Paint and click "Save As" and make sure you select .jpg

The bolded text will allow you to convert a .gif into a .jpg, which will allow you to use as a wallpaper on the zune.
